About Nutritional Medicine

Nutritional Medicine provides a holistic outlook on how nutrition influences our health, the relationship between diet and disease, as well as a focused understanding of how nutrients, food and lifestyle factors can affect one's overall state of health.

Degree-qualified holistic nutritionists combine traditional food wisdom with current scientific advances in nutritional biochemistry to treatments that are tailored to the individual's unique needs. This may include recommendations with high quality nutritional supplements to correct any underlying biochemical imbalances.

As a holistic nutritionist specialising in mental health, Sarah looks beyond presenting symptoms and instead aims to work with her clients in identifying underlying factors that may trigger or exacerbate emotional, behavioural and cognitive imbalances. Sarah achieves this through thorough case taking, pathology and functional testing (if necessary), creating a treatment plan with personalised recipes that aims to teach clients how they can effectively nourish and nurture their mental and emotional wellbeing according to their unique needs. Sarah enjoys taking a collaborative approach with other health care practitioners to assist her clients in the management of their health and reaching their full potential.

While Sarah has a specialised interest in mental health and wellbeing she enjoys harnessing her craft of nutrition to assist with a range of common conditions including:
